<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately associate the data of data bases with each other. <P>SOLUTION: This data base preparing method comprises a process for attaching an ID chip 3 for transmitting specific ID information to a distributed matter (printed matter), a print process for transmitting name list data obtained from a name list data base DB1 on the Internet IT and a management code obtained from another data base (management data base DB1) to a printer 7, and for printing the name list data and management code on the distributed matter, a registration data forming process for making a recognizing device (scanner 2 and recognizing device 4) recognize the management code of the distributed matter and the ID information of the ID chip, and for associating the management code and name list data of the distributed matter with the ID information of the recognized distributed matter to collate the name list data, and a registration process for successively registering the registration data in the registration data base (management data base DB1) for registering the registration data.
