PURPOSE: To provide a height adjustment mechanism of a shoulder belt for the child seat of an automobile. CONSTITUTION: This shoulder belt height adjustment mechanism for a passenger restraint system 32 is provided with shoulder belts 34, 36 having upper and lower restraint slots arranged at an interval in the vertical direction in a back panel 24. The upper and lower restraint slots are connected by a transfer passage which couples an inboard end of one restraint slot with the outboard end of the other restraint slot so that the shoulder belts 34, 36 can be moved from one restraint slot to the other restraint slot without twisting of the shoulder belts 34, 36 in the process. |
