<p>PURPOSE:To improve the recording speed when recording information is less by enabling the recording by the transfer of effective information only even when the information is less than the recorded width and setting a recording start position in the main scanning direction optionally. CONSTITUTION:A shift register 10 is cleared by a clear signal (d). The recording start position is informed to a recording control section 2 by a recording start position signal (h). The control section 2 uses a clock number signal (k) to preset a clock counter 5 to a recording start position A. A transfer picture element number B bit of a data of an effective input signal (e) is transferred by using an input clock (f). A data end signal (g) informing the end of effective data is received and a selection signal (j) sets a dummy data (white level) and its clock. The control section 2 generates the dummy data signal e' and a dummy signal clock f'. The counter 5 counts the clock f' and when its reaches N, the end signal (i) is sent to the control section 2. Thus, the recording speed when the recording information is less is improved.</p> |
