<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the possibility of giving electric shock to a handler by providing a first connector connected to a discharge lamp as well as to a power source, and a second connector connected to a lighting circuit, and by connecting the lighting circuit and the power source, the lighting circuit and the discharge lamp, through linking of these two connectors. CONSTITUTION:A first connector 13 connected to a discharge lamp 1 as well as to a power source 18, and a second connector 35 connected to a lighting circuit 23, and provided, and by linking the first connector 13 and the second connector 35, the lighting circuit 23 and the power source 18, as well as the lighting circuit 23 and the discharge lamp 1, are to be connected with each other. When the first connector 13 and second connector 35 are separated from each other, the connection between the lighting circuit 23 and power source 18 is cut off, and the output of high voltage is not generated from the lighting circuit 23. Even when a handler touches the output terminal of the lighting circuit 23 at the time of exchange or inspection of the discharge lamp 1 or of the lighting circuit 23, there is no fear of having electric shock thereby, and the safety is thus secured.</p> |
