A method (I) of dispersing at least one organic filler (II) and/or at least one powdered mineral filler (III) in a base (IV) comprising at least one oil phase (V) comprises, as a minimum, the mixing of the filler(s) with the base using a single or multiple step high-pressure homogeniser (VI). Also claimed are (a) a dispersion (VII) of at least one organic filler and/or at least one powdered mineral filler in a base comprising at least one oil phase prepared according to (I); (b) a cosmetic or dermatological composition (VIII) consisting of (VII); (c) a cosmetic treatment of the skin and/or hair and/or the scalp and/or nails and/or eye-lashes and/or eyebrows and/or mucous membranes comprising the application of (VIII); and (d) a cosmetic treatment for the protection of the skin and/or hair and/or the scalp and/or nails and/or eye-lashes and/or eyebrows and/or mucous membranes against UV radiation comprising the application of (VIII).
