摘要 FIELD: nuclear power engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has primary transducer, which has two neutron-sensitive chambers which contain insulated signal electrodes which contain material with number of nuclei nand n<nwhich emits charged particles under influence of neutrons. In addition device has electronic unit which has two circuits for measuring pulse rate for counting reaction pulses, and circuit for measuring of electric current. Inputs of two pulse rate measuring circuits are connected by means of electric line to separate signal electrodes of sensitive chambers which have nand nnuclei. Following equation holds true: &chi;/D&cong;n/n=K/K&cong;&delta;&bull;Q&bull;D&bull;N/(&chi;&bull;I), whereis overlap rate of linear parts in modes for measuring pulse counting rate and for measuring electric current; &delta; is relative deviation of load characteristic from linear one; D = N/Nis load range of circuit for measuring of reaction pulse rate counting; Nis minimal load of circuit for measuring of reaction pulse rate counting; Nis maximal load of circuit for measuring of reaction pulse rate counting; Q is average charge which is generated after one reaction between nuclide and neutrons in first sensitive chamber; Iis background current in first sensitive chamber; K/Kis ratio of neutron sensitivity of first and second chambers. Input of circuit which measures electric current is connected to signal electrode of first sensitive chamber which has nnuclei. Another claim of invention describes device design in which primary transducer has third neutron sensitive chamber; ratio &alpha; of background current in third sensitive chamber to background current in first sensitive chamber is less than ratio b of their sensitivity to neutrons.
