<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable control from a distant point on the ground and automatic installation by robots by providing a cable hanger with a band portion extending from one end of its retaining tube section and with a latch portion to be anchored into an inside anchoring hole and an outside anchoring hole formed at an end of the band portion. SOLUTION: This cable hanger 1 is installed as follows: The cable hanger 1 is held using a lower hand 44, and a lower arm 42 is operated to pass a cable K through an opening 20 facing upward. The cable K is then fit into a retaining tube section 2. Then a messenger wire W is passed through a hooking gate 30 facing downward, and fit into a hooking tube section 3. An upper arm 43 is operated, and the hooking tube section 3 is squeezed using the upper moving claws 47 of the upper hand 45 to plastically deform a folded portion and superpose it on a flat plat portion 22. When the lower moving claws 46 of the lower hand 44 is squeezed here, the retaining tube section 2 is compressed, and the T-shaped latch portion 24 of a band portion is caught in a T-shaped inside anchoring hole and a T-shaped outside anchoring hole. This secures the end of the latch portion 24 and completes this operation.</p> |
