PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the propeller for a marine vessel, which can prevent the occurrence of any flow around the tip end of each wing blade, and also can prevent the occurrence of cavitation over the surface of each wing blade. SOLUTION: This propeller is so constituted that wing laking is gradually increased toward the wing front face side in a range of an area from the axial center of the propeller to an area of 0.9R (R: the radius of the propeller), the laking value is made maximum at the area of 0.95R, and a wing laking angle αis gradually increased toward the back face side in an area from a position C where the wing laking value exceeds its maximum value, over to the tip end of the wing, and furthermore, the wing laking angle α is made equal to or more than 30 deg. to the wing back face side. |
