Tights with invisible control panels

A pair of tights is made with invisible control panels to flatten the figure of the wearer. Front (3) and rear panels are stitched at the top to the waistband of the garment, and are joined at the sides by elasticated gussets (12). The lower edge of the front panel is connected to the crotch of the garment by a floating panel (8). The front and rear control panels are made from separate layers of material to the pants section of the garment and are joined by seams only to the waistband and the side gussets.
