Manufacture of plastic cheese mould with fine perforations

New perforated cheese mould is prepared by moulding a sheet of material (1) with open cups (4) in its upper surface (2). Each cup converges to a narrow base (6) near to the lower surface (3) of the sheet. Perforations are made in the base of the cups by cutting slots (16) into the lower surface, through the narrow bases of the mould cups.
