PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To excellently execute the operation of electrifying a photoreceptor with an electrifying brush by preventing the sticking of toner to the electrifying brush, in a photoreceptor unit for an image forming device. SOLUTION: An electrifying roller 22 for attaining uniform electrification is arranged with respect to the photoreceptor 21 arranged in the photoreceptor unit 20 and the developing roller 14 of a developing unit and a transfer roller 26 are provided in such a manner that they are connected to their respective voltage applying means. In this device, after a copying cycle is completed, the potential of the transfer roller 26 is maintained and when the polarity of a developing bias is changed to a positive one and the electrifying brush is connected to a ground, the toner stuck to the electrifying brush is transferred to the developing roller 14 with the photoreceptor 21, to remove the soiling with the toner of the electrifying brush. |
