PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the multiplex converter that outputs packets in the time arrival order of packets. SOLUTION: The multiplex converter used in an asynchronous transfer mode network of a packet exchange type is provided with pluralities of input buffer means B1-Bn storing received data, an arrival number information storage means 2 that stores the input data stored in the input buffer means B1-Bn in the arrival order of the input data in cross-referencing the input buffer means B1-Bn and the arrival number information denoting the arrival order, and an output control means 3 that reads the input data stored in the input buffer means B1-Bn and outputs the data based on the arrival number information stored by the arrival number information storage means 2. |
