A truss (10) is applied above the hocks (12) of a chicken (14) as a single or double loop with a knot (16). The locks (12) are crossed and the legs (20) are held against the breast of the chicken (14) with the hocks (12) in proximal but spaced relation to the tail (18) of the chicken (14). The truss is made of an edible material such as slit tubular collagen (sausage) casing. |
