The paint applicator has a cartridge, a piston (27) moving axially within the cartridge, and a replaceable nozzle (11). The nozzle is fastened to the front end of the cartridge, and has a replaceable felt stamp (43) at the free end. The piston seals a first interior chamber (33) relative to a second chamber (34) within the cartridge. The first chamber contains the paint medium (37). The felt stamp has a felt head (44) outside the nozzle.
