The spray coating arrangement has a powder channel (8), an electrode holder (24) and an electrical contact arrangement (34) for a high voltage conductor with an electrical connecting cable extending through the electrode holder to at least one high voltage electrode (22). The contact arrangement is mounted on a rearward facing fitting between two tube sections (28,30) of the powder channel. The axial separation of the contact arrangement and the rear end of the rear tube section (28) is at least 1.5 cm.
