PURPOSE: A system of tracking an originating source of a spurious wave is provided to search an originating direction of a spurious wave by iteratively rotating an antenna so as to receive the spurious wave. CONSTITUTION: A system of tracking an originating source of a spurious wave comprises a directional antenna which is mounted at a vehicle roof. A receiver detects a receipt power from a signal received through the directional antenna, and the detected receipt power is converted into a digital signal via an analog to digital converter. A GPS signal received via a GPS antenna is input to a GPS receiver, which calculates a current position in response thereto. The calculated position and a current direction of a vehicle are provided to a personal computer. The personal computer controls a receipt frequency of the receiver and a rotation angle of a rotator connected to a rotator control unit. The personal computer processes the receipt power, an antenna direction, the direction information of the vehicle, and the position information from the receiver to calculate an incident direction of a spurious wave.
