Surfactant composition used for removing residues containing silicone from surfaces. Surfactant composition used for removing residues containing silicone from surfaces contains hydrophilic component(s) selected from: (a) nonionic surfactants comprising polyethylene oxide monoalk(en)yl ethers of formula R<1>-(OC2H4)n-OH (I) and N,N-bis(ethoxylated)-N-alk(en)yl amines of formula R<2>-N((OC2H4)y-Zy)-(OC2H4)x-Zx (II); and/or (b) 8-22 carbon (C) alkyl sulfonates and also component(s) selected from (c) alkyl phosphate salts and/or alkylphenol ethoxylates with an average of 6-14 ethylene oxide (EO) units; (c) (8-22 C alkyl)-amine oxides; and/or (d) nonionic surfactant(s) comprising (poly)ethylene oxide monoalk(en)yl ethers of formula R6-(OC2H4)r-OH (III); R<1>, R<2>, R<6> = linear or branched 8-22 C alkyl or alkenyl; n = 14-40; r = 1-7; x+y = 5-25; Zx, Zy = hydroxyl (OH); or Zx or Zy = hydrogen (H) if x or y = 0.
