PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treating method for a rubber roller mandrel having corrosion resistance and adhesive properties equal to or above those by the conventional method, by which the operation cost is low equally to that in the conventional method, and also, an environmental load is small. SOLUTION: In the rubber roller in which a rubber layer is cylindrically formed on the outer curcumference of a metallic mandrel, the surface of the mandrel is coated with a Zn-Fe alloy plating layer, and the rubber layer is vulcanized and formed on the Zn-Fe alloy plating layer. |
