PURPOSE: To provide a bidirectional communication system capable of constructing a more convenient home network by performing a remote operation without performing any troublesome operation. CONSTITUTION: A display device 100 accepts the supply of an information signal from a base device 200, and displays a video corresponding a display signal of the information signal on an LCD 107. The display device 100 displays a control panel CP for an STB 200 for accepting an operation input from a user on the LCD 107. A touch panel 121 as a contract position detecting means is arranged on the display screen of the LCD 107, and the operation input is accepted through the display of the control panel CP and the touch panel 121, and an operation signal corresponding to the operation input is transmitted by radio to a base device 200, and the base device 200 transmits a remote control signal corresponding to the operation signal through a remote control signal transmitting part 250 to an STB 300. |
