PURPOSE: An optic head for a laser apparatus is provided to protect a tip cover glass of the optic head from spatter generated during welding or cutting works, and to keep the permeability of a laser beam in a good level. CONSTITUTION: In the optic head(1) of a laser apparatus for irradiating a laser beam(3) to a welding portion or a cut portion of a material after varying its spot size, the optic head is formed with a cover glass for protecting lens on its lower end, and in addition, an air injection device is mounted at the lower end of the optic head through a connection housing(13) for protecting the cover glass. The air injection device consists of an inner air jet head, and outer air jet head. |
