PURPOSE: An automatic clamp open/shut apparatus is provided to reduce manufacturing cost by reducing manpower and maintenance time, while achieving improved safety for work. CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic cylinder(17) operates by the rotation of a jig which rotates by a hydraulic motor(3), thus opening/shutting a clamp bar(20). A clamp jaw(2') opens/shuts by the operation of the clamp bar. When a hydraulic pressure is injected through an injection port(9-1) formed at a gear shaft, the hydraulic pressure is injected to the hydraulic cylinder through a clamp shut pipe(9-5), thus permitting a rod of the hydraulic cylinder to move rearward. Since the rod of the hydraulic cylinder is connected to a bracket(16), the bracket moves rearward in sequence. The movement of the bracket causes a link bar(18) to move in the rearward direction. The clamp bar moves by the combination of a link pin(19) connected to the clamp bar, and a link pin(21) connected to a bracket(22).
