PURPOSE: A method for providing an Internet security service is provided to make a specific user apply a security solution without charge, to perform customized advertising aiming at the users of direct or potential demands, and to efficiently and monopolistically offer various Internet services to the user. CONSTITUTION: A first service provider registers for a server of a security solution provider, and so does a user(S301,S302). The security solution provider makes a contract about a security solution service with the first service provider(S303). The first service provider selects a specific user among the users of an Internet-based service and informs the security solution provider of user selection(S304,S305). The first service provider requests the security solution provider to provide the security solution to the selected user. The security solution provider authenticates the selected user and provides the user with the solution(S306,S307). A second service provider also provides the solution to another selected user through the same procedure.
