PURPOSE: A backwash filter is provided to easily perform washing of filter part by rotationally injecting compressed air between respective filter units of the filter part and easily perform sludge discharge by flowing the collected sludge in sludge discharge pipe after collecting sludge separated from the filter part into shaft positioned at the center. CONSTITUTION: In an ordinary backwash filter(100) comprising a filter part(20) formed by circularly erecting a plurality of filter units in chamber housing(10), and a brush arm(40) mounted on an inner part of the filter part and connected to a reduction gear(30) so that sludge on the inner circumferential surface of the filter part is removed by a brush connected to an end part of the brush arm, the backwash filter comprises an air inflow pipe(50) on which a valve(51) is mounted, and which is formed at one side of an upper part of the chamber housing and connected to an intermediate part of first shaft(60) for connecting the reduction gear and the brush arm; an injection pipe(70) which is connected to the lower side of the first shaft, and on which a plurality of injection holes are formed in such a manner that the injection holes of the injection pipe are formed oppositely to the brush arm; and a sludge discharge pipe(80) which is formed at an end part of second shaft(41) connected to the brush arm, and on which a valve(81) is mounted.
