<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing instrument which can obtain a large holding force in being inserted into a pocket or the like and is prevented from being lost by lengthening the insertion length as well as shortening the length of the rear end part of the writing instrument projecting upward from the pocket. <P>SOLUTION: In the writing instrument, one end part 8 of a plate spring 5 in a substantially inverted L shape from the side-view is fixed to the rear end part 4 of a cylinder body 3 such as a main body shaft, cap or the like so that the other end part 9 faces backward, and the rear end part 18 of the clip 2 is supported by the other end part 9, setting the clip 2 to the cylinder body 3, with the front end part 2a of the clip 2 urged to the surface of the cylinder body 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
