Embodiments are disclosed of an anti-disengagement assembly (10) for minimizing disengagement of an electrical extension cord (134) from a power tool (132) of the type that includes a housing (12) and a motor therein, the assembly including an electrical plug module (IS) configured to engage a receptacle of the extension cord (134), with the plug module (16) being operatively connected to the power tool motor and being mounted in the housing (12) and being biased by at least one spring (28, 30) in a configuration permitting limited movement that reduces the influence of vibration produced by the power tool (132) on the plug module (16).
