An organic electroluminescence display and a driving method thereof are provided to prevent the change in color balance and image sticking due to the difference in the luminance reduction rates of R(Red), G(Green), and B(Blue) unit pixels generated as the time is elapsed. An organic electroluminescence display(400) includes a gate driving circuit(430) generating scan signals(S1~Sm) by a unit of sub frame and supplying the scan signals to plural scan lines in order; a data driving circuit(420) supplying predetermined data signals(DR1,DG1,DB1~DRn,DGn,DBn) to plural data lines every time that the scan signal is applied by a unit of sub frame; an emission control signal generating circuit(440) generating and supplying first and second emission control signals(E11~Em1,E12~Em2) for controlling the emission of an electroluminescent element, to plural emission control lines; and a pixel unit(410) having plural pixels(450) connected to the scan lines, data lines, emission control lines, and power lines and arranged in a matrix form. The pixel comprises a first unit pixel part(452) including plural unit pixels time-division controlled with sharing one pixel circuit and a second unit pixel part(454) including one unit pixel having an independent pixel circuit.
