A projection television is provided to easily combine a ballast bracket with a base board, thereby reducing a work time and facilitating the work. A projection television comprises the followings: a base board including plural holes; a lamp for outputting light; a ballast for turning on/off the lamp; the first connector(411) connected to the lamp through an electric wire; the second connector(431) which is combined with the first connector(411) and connected to the ballast through an electric wire; a lamp case(420) which receives the lamp, includes the first holder(421) in its side in order to receive the first connector(411) and is combined with the base board; and a ballast bracket(440) which receives the ballast, includes the second holder(444) in its side in order to receive the second connector(431) and includes plural fixing units(441) inserted into plural holes of the base board.
