A battery pack is provided to protect a bare cell from external pressure, to realize excellent appearance while maintaining structural integrity, and to prevent a shorter side of the battery pack from being opened by the injection of a resin. A battery pack comprises an electrode assembly including a first electrode plate, a second electrode plate and a separator interposed between the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate, and an outer casing(300) surrounding a bare cell(200) and including a casing for housing the electrode assembly. The outer casing comprises a first outer casing(310) and a second outer casing(320) surrounding both surfaces(201,202) of the long side of the bare cell and both surfaces(203,204) of the short side of the bare cell. The first outer casing has an extension(314) surrounding one surface of the shorter side of the bare cell, and the second outer casing has an extension(324) surrounding the other surface of the shorter side of the bare cell. |
