The side channel machine has a conveyor belt (5a) formed in a three-dimensional manner such that a partially twisted blade flow guidance (8) is formed by a radially internal attachment root (6). The blade flow guidance is adjusted to the irrotational flow, so that the guidance is aligned on parameters for performance, speed, peripheral speed in an input area and in an output area. Guided volumes per time unit and a desired pressure difference between input and output area are aligned.
