PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage element capable of preventing deterioration of electromotive voltage after being charged over time.SOLUTION: A power storage element (100) includes: a conductive first electrode (20); a conductive second electrode (60); a power storage layer (40) disposed between the first electrode (20) and the second electrode (60), which contains an insulating material (41) and an n-type semiconductor particle (42); a p-type semiconductor layer (50) disposed between the power storage layer (40) and the second electrode (60); and a diffusion suppression layer (30) disposed between the power storage layer (40) and the first electrode (20), the electrical resistivity of which is 1000 μΩ per cm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
