PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay system and a switch device that are able to reduce communication congestion.SOLUTION: Even if a destination capsulation address BDA receives a capsulation frame not destined to its device at an upper-level link port, a learning frame transmission unit (22) generates a learning frame MF1a including a transmission source customer address CSA of the capsulated frame, and transmits it from a bridge port Pb.
