SEQUENCING BATCH REACTOR (SBR) WITH MOVABLE BAFFLES AND METHOD FOR TREATING WASTEWATER USING THE SAME SBR

PURPOSE: Provided are a sequencing batch reactor (SBR) with at least one baffle(60) which is movable up and down to divide the reactor into an aeration zone, an anaerobic zone and an anoxic zone, and further provided is a method for treating wastewater using the same SBR. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a reactor(11) with a raw water inlet(12, 112), a treated water outlet(14), and a sludge outlet(17), a baffle(60) which is moving up and down by a driving unit(61) so as for dividing the reactor(11) into a first and a second reaction zones and combining the first and second reaction zones into single reaction zone, and a mixing unit installed in the first reaction zone, an aeration unit(35) installed in the second reaction zone.
