PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tolling system configured to charge a fee so as to alleviate traffic congestion.SOLUTION: In using a toll road, a reservation acceptance section 8 receives information on an in-vehicle terminal 11 mounted on a vehicle of a road user and reservation information including a place of departure, a place of arrival, start time, and arrival time, from a reservation terminal 12 of the road user, in advance. A route calculation section 9 calculates a reservation route of the vehicle, in reference to congestion information predicted by a congestion prediction section 10, and transmits to the reservation terminal 12 for deciding a reservation. A reservation information storage section 7 stores the decided reservation route. A route comparison section 6 compares the reservation route with an actual route of the vehicle. When the reservation route is a bypass route that bypasses the shortest route, a toll charged by a tolling section 4 is reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
