PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage element and a power storage device that can suppress interference with other members while effectively using the internal space of a case.SOLUTION: A power storage element 10 is configured in a cylindrical shape, and includes a case 20 having opening portions 20A, 20B at at least one end portion thereof, lid plates 30, 40 for blocking the opening portions 20A, 20B of the case 20, and a power storage element 11 mounted in the case 20. The case 20 has a main body portion 21 and opening end portions 23, 25 as the end portions at the opening portion side. The lid plates 30, 40 are arranged while the outer peripheral edge portions 33, 42 are superimposed on the end faces 23c, 25c of the opening end portions 23, 25. The outer surfaces 23a, 25a of the opening end portions 23, 25 are reduced in diameter to the inside of the case 20 as compared with the outer surface 21a of the main body portion 21. The inner surfaces 23b, 25b of the opening end portions 23, 25 is reduced in diameter to the inside of the case 20 as compared with the inner surface 21b of the main body portion 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
