PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly control the open/close action of a safety valve.SOLUTION: A safety valve 2 suitable for being attached to a pressure container 1, is equipped with: a body 3; a relief passage 5; a valve body 12 capable of moving between a shut-off position and an open position; a holding member 13 capable of moving between a holding position holding the valve body at the shut-off position and a permission position permitting the movement of the valve body to the open position; a thermal shrinkable heat receiving member 4; and a shock absorbing member 16. The heat receiving member is coupled to the holding member at one end, and shrunk to move the holding member from the holding position to the permission position when receiving heat. The shock absorbing member permits the movement of the holding member from the holding position to the permission position due to the thermal shrinkage of the heat receiving member, and prevents the movement of the holding member from the holding position to the permission position due to external force acting on the heat receiving member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
