The invention relates to a drive system (14) for a profiling installation (1) for longitudinal forming of a metal band or an initial profile into a profile or pipe by means of a plurality of roller forming tools (7) held on scaffolding stands (5). The drive system (14) comprises drive stands (15) and coupling units (10), each having first and second coupling elements (17, 18) for forming coupling devices (18). There are also transmissions (12) and drive motors (13). The coupling units (10) are adjustable on the drive stands (15) in the height extensions thereof. Each of the first coupling elements (17) of the coupling units (10) has a drive connection via a separate transmission (12) to a separate drive motor (13). The invention further relates to a profiling installation (1) having such drive systems (14) and coupling elements (17, 18) having individual wedge teeth which, viewed in the axial direction, have transitional wedge teeth flanks aligned converging toward each other, proceeding from the two wedge tooth flanks. |
