<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective method of reactivation of a sulfonated resin catalyst for extension of the catalyst life. <P>SOLUTION: In this reactivation method of the sulfonated resin catalyst, the sulfonated resin catalyst which is used for polymerization of silicone oil and activity of which is deteriorated is washed with a low molecular weight siloxane medium, then the siloxane is vaporized and removed at an ordinary or reduced pressure and, at the same time, moisture in the catalyst is removed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
