摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mitigate the work concerned with the setting of the sending time difference between an optical signal and an optical label signal, in each transmission node concerned with an optical communication system utilizing an optical label signal. <P>SOLUTION: An optical communication instrument converts an optical signal into desired wavelength&lambda;a-&lambda;d by the optical label signals 77a-77d which have the address information of optical signals 76a-76d in the shared optical sources 88a-88d that each communication node 100a-100d can hold in common, and routes the optical signal without converting it into an electric signal as far as the address communication node by the wavelength routing function of a wavelength-circling array waveguide type diffraction grating 120. A multiple optical source that each communication node can hold in common is installed within a routing instrument 80. An optical gate set for returning an optical signal to its own communication node through the routing instrument and others are added to each communication node, and controllers 110a-110d adjust the transmission time difference between the optical signal and the optical label signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
