The assembly of work table, presser and comb are displaceable laterally with respect to the descent path of the press. A third pinion of very small diameter is added to each of the chains of the combing system. The path of the teeth of the comb can an adjusted relative to the displacement of the reeds. A belt drives the foot of the reeds after their passage through the comb and cutting bar. An expeller band avoids the accumulation of scraps in front of the combing system.
