PURPOSE:To minimize the ripple voltage and time lag of a generator which has a field magnet as a rotor and to detect its rotation direction at the same time, by removing a commutator and a brush, decreasing the number of phases of armature coils, and realizing a simple circuit. CONSTITUTION:An annular yoke 5 is equipped with the armature coils 8a, 8b, and 8c at an open angle of 120 deg.. The rotor as the field magnet 4 is provided over the top surface of the yoke 5 at an interval and its magnetic field is closed through the yoke 5. The field magnet 4 is magnetized axially in a discoid shape by N and S poles having an open angle of 90 deg.. Magnetic flux penetrates conductor parts on the top surfaces of the armature coils 8a, 8b, and 8c and passes through the yoke to be closed. Therefore, the magnetic flux penetrates none of conductor parts on the reverse surfaces of the armature coils 8a, 8b, and 8c. Said constitution allows the positions of the conductor parts effective to the electricity generation of the armature coils to coincide with the positions of Hall elements 9a, 9b, and 9c completely. |
