PURPOSE:To obtain a motor, small in power comsumption and capable of operating continuously, by forming a gap having the electric angle of 2 deg. substantially between pole shoes of neighboring magnetic poles. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic poles 1a-1d for a stator include pillar-type pole shoes which are not mutually connected at their ends. Stator coils 3a-3d are wound around the magnetic poles respectively, thereafter the magnetic poles are fixed to a yoke 2. The gaps a'-d' between the shoes are such that the gap angle theta corresponds to an electric angle of 2 deg.. According to this method, flux leakage from the tip end of the pole shoe may be reduced without increasing whole flux density and efficiency may be increased.
