Warp beam with barrel permanently held to the flanges, has outer support flanges which revolve freely on a ball bearing race, secured into the barrel. The support flanges have at least two circular spaces to separate from the flange. ADVANTAGE - The construction ensures strength and rigidity, with a reduction of torque drag, esp. with stop and start when winding. Reduces power requirement both on winder and loom.
