PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of troubles such as clogging with dust, corrosion and deterioration of catalyst, to suppress an increase in pressure drop due to the setting of the catalyst and to stably and efficiently remove a harmful gas with easy maintenance for a collector. SOLUTION: The inside of a casing 2 is vertically divided by a thimble plate 3, and the lower section is used as a dust-contg. air chamber and the upper section as a cleaned air chamber 5. Many bag filters B are suspended from the thimble plate 3, dust-contg. air is introduced into the dust-contg. air chamber, filtered by the bag filters B and discharged to the outside through the purified air chamber. In this bag filter-type dust collector 1, the cleaned air chamber 5 is packed with a catalyst 20 for decomposing harmful gases. |
