<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the opening treatment for the terminal of a gas conduit by cutting the gas conduit in the state where the gas flow is temporarily cut off at the place on the upstream side in the gas flow direction in comparison with a predetermined cut place of the gas conduit, charging the cut part with a charging material, and closing the cut edge. CONSTITUTION:When the terminal of a gas conduit 1 which is made of polyethylene and is exposed inside an execution pit A is closing-treated, the gas conduit 1 is temporarily collapsed to cut off the flow of gas by using a squeeze-off tool 3, at the place (b) on the upstream side in the gas flow direction in comparison with a predetermined cut place of the gas conduit 1. Then, the gas conduit 1 is cut at the predetermined cut place, and the part between the gas cut-off place (b) and the cut place (a) of the gas conduit 1 is charged with molded articles 2 which possess the shape holding performance and airtightness, e.g. foamed resin. The air between both places (a) and (b) is expelled through this charge. A closing cap 4 is externally fitted at the cut edge part, and fused on the gas conduit 1, and after the cut place (a) is closed, the squeeze-off tool 3 is demounted, and the cut-off place (b) is opened.</p> |
