PURPOSE:To implement an error check at definition of a print element as to whether or not the print element is defined at a print disable area. CONSTITUTION:A print disable area acquisition means 15 obtains a print disable area based on information obtained by a paper information acquisition means 11, a printer class acquisition means 12, an area information acquisition means 13 and a page information acquisition means 14. A print element check means 16 checks whether or not a print element is defined in the obtained print disable area. If a print element is defined in the print disable area, it is processed to be an error and an error message is displayed on a document layout screen via an error information generating means 17 and an error information display means 18. |
