PURPOSE:To facilitate correcting operation while comparing an old and a new document each other since they are in continuous lines by copying an old document file to next lines, line by line, correcting even lines as the new document and then deleting the odd lines of the old document lastly in the lump when the existent document file is corrected by using a word processor. CONSTITUTION:The source document file is generated (step 11). Then the file is copied to next lines, line by line. Namely, lines having the same contents succeed by two and the number of lines is doubled (step 12). Only the even lines are corrected by referring to the odd lines. When the document is partially put back to the previous version during the correcting operation, the document is put back to the previous version by referring to the odd lines (step 13). After the correcting operation is completed (step 14), only the odd lines are deleted (step 15). Consequently, such a defect that the old document and new document are separated and hard to compare is eliminated. |
