PURPOSE:To display an idiomatic sentence including a retrieval character string in complete form together with its meaning and examples once part of the idomatic sentence is inputted as the retrieval character string. CONSTITUTION:Part of the idiomatic sentence or the end form of the declinable words of the idiomatic sentence is inputted as the retrieval character string. A retrieval character string storage means 2 is stored with the retrieval character string which is inputted from the input means 5. A retrieval processing means 4 retrieves an idiomatic sentence dictionary 1 according to the tetrieval character string stored in the retrieval character string storage means 2 and stores the retrieved contents in the idiomatic sentence storage means 3. A display means 6 displays the retrieval results stored in the idiomatic sentence storage means 3. |
