PURPOSE:To obtain a compact portable radio equipment without deteriorating the talking performance by providing rotatively a rotary part including one of a transmitter part and a receiver part to a main body including the other of the transmitter part and the receiver part. CONSTITUTION:A rotary part 7 is supported pivotally to a main body 6 via a rotary shaft 8 and the part 7 revolves around the shaft 8 as a center to the body 6. The main body 6 is provided with a receiver part 9, and the part 7 includes a transmitter part 10. When a compact portable radio equipment 5 is not working, the part 7 is juxtaposed on the body 6. In such conditions, the total length of the unit 5 is reduced. Furthermore the part 7 covers the operation buttons 13 so that the malfunctions can be prevented in a portable mode. When the unit 5 is working, the part 7 is turned by 180 deg.. Thus a proper space is secured between both parts 9 and 10 for the execution of the taking. |
