A clock mechanism (7) drives a shaft (9) and a disk (6) which has 24 diapositives (13). The slides are images or graphics which represent the hours of the day and they are presented in turn in front of a reflector (1), bulb (2) and window (11) in a mask (8). The light passing through the slides is focussed by an objective (5) and may be projected on to a wall or ceiling. Disks for minutes and seconds can also be added.
