<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase shifter that can be reduced in cost more than in a conventional practice at the time of controlling phases of a plurality of numbers of exciting power, and in addition, can be reduced in size. <P>SOLUTION: This phase shifter has an enclosure, a plurality of coplanar lines adjacently arranged in the enclosure, and a dielectric plate arranged on the coplanar lines in the enclosure. This phase shifter also has a circular rotor arranged on the coplaner lines at a prescribed interval continuously from the dielectric plate. The rotor is rotated around its center. The phase of high-frequency signal propagated through each coplanar line is changed by changing the lengths of the portions of the coplanar lines covered by the dielectric plate by rotating the rotor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
